Vima lamp in all its proportions gives off the essence of public street lighting, compacted for the dwelling. It’s a synthesis of iconic street lamps found throughout the world.

We were looking for a synthesis of Marcel Breuer’s rational forms and Victor Papanek’s rational thought. At these crossroads the Vima series was formed. Made from the kind of tubing found abundantly in cities, that is the feeling Vima embodies. Bent, cut, and welded from 36 mm diameter steel tubing.
